If you decide on a webconsult solution with dedicated video consulting workstations, the video data stream bypasses the terminal server via an encrypted connection either via the Internet or via existing MPLS / VPN lines. The video terminal acts as a second screen for the thin client. In this way, your agents work in a familiar environment, but can also share screen contents and work together on documents in addition to the consultation. Your terminal servers are not burdened in the process. This means that there is no loss of performance and you do not have to accept compromises in security or user-friendliness.
